But nothing prepared me for the surreal feeling of meeting and working with one of my inspirations—Anupam Roy.It wasn’t just a casual meet-and-greet. I got the incredible opportunity to collaborate with him professionally. From the moment I stepped into the studio, there was a quiet sense of excitement building up inside me. This was someone whose music had influenced a generation, and here I was, working alongside him.What struck me most was his humility and warmth. At one point, he simply said, “You are a good musician. Keep it up.” Those few words might seem small, but they meant the world to me. Coming from someone I’ve looked up to for years, it was a moment of validation I’ll never forget.The entire experience was nothing short of awesome. It’s hard to put into words the emotion of that first collaboration—but if I had to sum it up in one, it would be grateful.This is just the beginning.
